Position: Sales Executive
Job Location: Sector 2, Salt Lake, near Tank 8, Kolkata.
Working Days: Mon-Sat (2nd and 4th Sat off)
Shift Timing: 10 AM to 6:30 pm
Experience: 0-2 years
Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred)

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Solar Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of sales expertise and technical knowledge in solar energy/electrical systems. This role involves generating leads, building and maintaining client relationships, and providing technically sound solar solutions tailored to customer needs. The Sales Solar Engineer will be responsible for achieving sales targets while ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term engagement.
Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and industry events.
  • Conduct site surveys, load assessments, and feasibility studies for solar projects.
  • Understand client energy requirements and design customized solar solutions.
  • Present, promote, and sell solar products/services using persuasive technical and commercial arguments.
  • Prepare accurate proposals, quotations, and ROI/Payback analyses.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Stay updated on government policies, subsidies, and solar financing models.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, proposals, and customer interactions.
Requirements & Skills
  • Proven experience as a Sales Executive, Sales Engineer, or in a similar technical sales role (preferably in Solar/Electrical industry).
  • Strong understanding of Electrical Engineering basics:
  • Fundamentals of electric power generation, transmission, and distribution.
  • Key parameters: voltage, current, power factor, frequency, load.
  • Knowledge of AC/DC systems, single-phase vs. three-phase supply.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and translate them into technical and commercial solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to achieve sales targets.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field (preferred).
