Account Executive

• Site Visits: Travel to various construction sites to verify project progress, review documentation, and ensure accurate expense reporting.
• Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process invoices, manage payments to vendors and subcontractors, and ensure timely collection of payments.
• Expense Tracking: Monitor and review construction-related expenses, ensuring they align with budget forecasts and project timelines.
• Cost Control: Assist in tracking project budgets, identifying cost variances, and suggesting corrective measures to stay within budget.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on project costs, budgets, and site financials.
• Inventory Management: Work with procurement and inventory teams to maintain accurate records of materials and resources used on-site.
• Reconciliation: Perform account reconciliations and assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Documentation: Maintain and organize financial documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Communication: Liaise with project managers, site engineers, and contractors to gather necessary financial information and resolve discrepancies.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal financial policies and procedures, as well as local tax and regulatory requirements.
• Ad hoc duties: Assist with other accounting duties and special projects as assigned by the Senior Accountant .

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the construction or engineering industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of construction project accounting and site management practices.
• Willingness to travel to multiple construction sites as & when required.
• Knowledge of local tax laws and construction regulations is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
