Job Summary

The Senior Account Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting audits and financial reporting. The role requires strong accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations
• Handle accounts payable and receivable functions
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Manage bank reconciliation statements (BRS)
• Ensure timely filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.), TDS returns, and other statutory compliances
• Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits
• Monitor cash flow and assist in budgeting and forecasting
• Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation schedules
• Ensure compliance with Income Tax, GST, Companies Act, and other applicable laws
• Support finalization of accounts and year-end closing
• Liaise with banks, consultants, and government authorities when required
• Guide and review work of junior accounting staff

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
• Practical experience in GST, TDS, Income Tax compliance
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally / ERP / SAP / Zoho Books, etc.)
• Good command over MS Excel and MS Office
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle pressure
• Good communication and coordination skills

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) – Mandatory
• M.Com / CA-Inter / CMA-Inter – Preferred

Experience

• 4 to 7 years of relevant experience in accounts & finance
• Prior experience in [NBFC / Manufacturing / Service / Trading] industry is an added advantage

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹21,000.00 per month
