Job Description

As an Account / Customer Development Manager at OTR Direct, you will play a crucial role in managing key UK accounts across various FMCG categories. Your responsibilities will include strategic account management, commercial ownership, new product development, operational coordination, and sales analytics. You will work closely with global clients, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to drive business growth and ensure customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities - Manage strategic UK accounts, from onboarding to aftersales support, ensuring strong and trust-based relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. - Identify and capitalize on opportunities to expand product portfolios, including new SKUs and categories. - Lead commercial negotiations, drive margin optimization, pricing strategy, and sustainable business growth. - Coordinate new product development activities from concept to launch, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product introduction. - Troubleshoot operational challenges, ensure consistent service delivery, track sales performance, and provide detailed reports for key accounts. - Forecast demand, analyze trends, and offer insights to support strategic decisions for business growth. Candidate Requirements - 6-10 years of experience in Account Management, Customer Development, or Key Account Sales within the FMCG, Food, Retail, or Supply Chain industries. - Proven success in managing large or international accounts, with strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and stakeholder management. - Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and the capability to manage end-to-end account operations independently. - Experience with UK/European clients is a strong plus, along with an MBA in Marketing or related field preferred. - Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in UK business hours.
