Job Description – Accounts AssistantPosition Title: Accounts AssistantDepartment: Finance & AccountsReporting To: Senior Accountant / Accounts Manager / Finance HeadLocation: bengaluru Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time / Contract Assist in maintaining accounts payable and receivable records. Prepare and process invoices, bills, vouchers, and other financial documents. Perform bank reconciliations and monitor daily cash flow. Assist with GST, TDS entries and returns (if applicable). Support monthly and yearly closing activities and audits. Maintain proper documentation for all accounting transactions. Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal teams for payments and collections. Assist the senior accountant or finance manager in generating financial reports. Update accounting databases and spreadsheets using Tally, QuickBooks, Excel, or other software. Requirements:Education: B.Com / M.Com / BBA (Finance) or related qualification. Experience: 0–1 years of experience in accounting or finance roles (freshers may apply). Basic knowledge of accounting principles and taxation. Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks). Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good organizational and time management skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity. Preferred Skills:Familiarity with GST, TDS, and statutory compliance. Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
