Job Responsibilities – QA/QC Engineer Location: Jamnagar, Gujarat Qualification: Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering Experience: 2 to 5 Years in Petrochemical Complex Implement QA/QC Procedures Execute quality control activities in accordance with project specifications, applicable codes (ASME, API, ASTM), and client requirements. Material Inspection Conduct inspection of raw materials and fabricated components; verify compliance with MTCs and project requirements. Welding Inspection Monitor welding processes and ensure adherence to approved WPS/PQR. Supervise welders’ performance and coordinate NDT activities (RT, UT, PT, MPT). Inspection and Testing Plans (ITP) Prepare and follow Inspection & Test Plans; conduct stage-wise inspections for piping, structural, and mechanical works. Quality Documentation Maintain records of inspections, test reports, material traceability, calibration certificates, and final dossier preparation. Non-Conformance Management Identify and report non-conformances (NCRs), conduct root cause analysis, and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions. Coordination with Stakeholders Liaise with site engineers, subcontractors, third-party inspectors, and client representatives to ensure quality compliance. Vendor Inspection & Audits Conduct inspections at vendor premises to ensure materials and equipment comply with standards before delivery.
