Description
As an Accessibility Tester , the candidate ensures digital products comply with accessibility standards ( WCAG 2.2 , ADA , Section 508 ), creating an inclusive experience for all users. The candidate will work with product owners , developers , designers , and QA teams to identify and fix accessibility issues . Key Responsibilities: Accessibility Testing: Perform manual and automated testing using tools ( Axe , WAVE , Lighthouse ) and assistive technologies ( JAWS , NVDA , VoiceOver ). Issue Documentation: Document and report accessibility issues , provide recommendations , and assist in prioritizing fixes . Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to integrate accessibility into development processes . Training & Guidance: Offer training on best practices and assistive technology usage. Stay Updated: Keep current with accessibility standards , laws , and technologies . Qualifications: 2-6 years in accessibility testing and compliance . Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 , ADA , Section 508 , and relevant standards . Experience with accessibility tools ( Axe , WAVE , Lighthouse , JAWS , NVDA , VoiceOver , TalkBack ). Familiarity with HTML , CSS , JavaScript , and ARIA . Strong communication skills and experience in agile environments . Preferred Qualifications: Accessibility certification ( CPACC , WAS ). Experience with mobile accessibility testing ( iOS/Android ). Experience in diverse teams and inclusive design practices . Note: Accessibility Testing , Real Time Working Experience is Mandatory .
