Role Description

This is a contract role for an Accessibility Tester, located on-site in Mumbai. The Accessibility Tester will be responsible for evaluating digital content and applications for accessibility, ensuring compliance with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1, Section 508). Daily tasks include testing web and mobile applications, creating accessibility reports, and providing recommendations for remediation. The role also involves collaborating with development and design teams to integrate accessibility features.

Qualifications

Knowledge of accessibility standards such as WCAG 2.1, Section 508, and ADA
Experience with accessibility testing tools (e.g., JAWS, NVDA, AXE, Wave)
Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end accessibility testing
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Experience in Usability Testing and User Experience (UX) is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
