Job Description

Role & responsibilities

1. Student Counselling & Lead Conversion

  • Provide counselling to walk-in, call-in, and online inquiries regarding courses, fees, and career opportunities.
  • Understand student needs and recommend suitable courses.
  • Conduct academy tours and explain course content, facilities, and training structure.
  • Follow up on leads and convert them into admissions.
  • Maintain high conversion rates through effective communication.

2. Admissions Management

  • Manage the complete admission process from inquiry to enrollment.
  • Ensure accurate documentation, form filling, and fee payments.
  • Coordinate batch start dates, scheduling, and student registrations.
  • Maintain student records and update in CRM or academy management software.

3. Marketing & Promotion

  • Assist in promoting academy courses through social media, events, and campaigns.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team for promotions, photoshoots, and content.
  • Attend career fairs, exhibitions, or tie-up visits to schools/colleges.
  • Help create marketing material (brochures, course highlights, etc.).

4. Student Relationship Management

  • Maintain regular communication with enrolled students regarding schedules, exams, and placements.
  • Handle student queries, concerns, or feedback in a professional manner.
  • Build rapport with students to ensure a positive academy experience.
  • Support students with placement assistance coordination when required.

5. Coordination With Trainers & Operations

  • Coordinate with trainers on batch planning, class schedules, and attendance.
  • Ensure classrooms, tools, and consumables are ready before training sessions.
  • Support examination processesassessment schedules, communication, and results.
  • Assist in organizing workshops, seminars, and guest artist sessions.

6. Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain and update lead trackers, admission reports, and monthly performance reports.
  • Track inquiry sources, conversion rates, and batch-wise occupancy.
  • Share daily/weekly MIS with Academy Manager.

Preferred candidate profile:

  • Graduate in any discipline (Education or Management preferred).
  • 13 years of experience in counselling, academic sales, or front office (preferably in beauty, wellness, or vocational training industry).
  • Experience in a salon academy or training institute is an advantage.
