Responsibilities To work as a backend engineer with our Core Shopping Experience engineering team To build highly available and scalable system solutions that power our apps and interfaces regardless of whether they are on the browser, on Android/iOS A smart, dynamic individuals with outstanding programming skills and a great passion for developing beautiful, innovative software Building high-level architecture of several systems and contributes to the overall success of the product by driving technology and best practices in engineering Responsible for building a highly scalable, extensible, reliable, and available platform Driving optimizations to scale out the platform in order to support an exponentially growing number of transactions Translating complex business use cases and wireframes into high-quality scalable code Must help in establishing industry best practices in architecture, design, and SDLC practices and drive their adaption Qualifications & Experience At least 4 years of experience in designing, developing, testing, and deploying large scale applications in any language or stack. Ability to design and implement low latency RESTful services. Strong in PHP, Java script, Node, and Python- (Proficient in anyone) Ability to design and implement low latency RESTful services. Conceptually familiar with a cloud-tech stack that includes AWS, Real-time message brokers, SQL, NoSQL, Continuous Delivery, Configuration Management.
