JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for an Academic Enrollment Counselor who will provide personalized academic and career counseling to students and working professionals, with a strong focus on psychology-related programs. This role is sales-oriented with targets, combining academic guidance with enrollment conversion responsibilities.

 

You will be responsible for understanding learners’ backgrounds and aspirations, recommending suitable programs, and supporting them throughout the enrollment journey while collaborating closely with sales and marketing teams.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Student & Professional Counseling

  • Counsel prospective students, working professionals, and parents on career-focused learning programs and suitable course options.
  • Conduct one-on-one or virtual counseling sessions to guide learners based on their academic background, interests, and career goals, especially in psychology-related domains.


Enrollment & Lead Management

  • Follow up on leads via phone, e-mail, WhatsApp, and other platforms to maximize enrollments and conversions.
  • Clearly explain course structure, content, duration, fees, career outcomes, and overall benefits.
  • Proactively work toward achieving and exceeding monthly enrollment and revenue targets.


Relationship Building & Onboarding

  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with students and their families.
  • Ensure a smooth onboarding experience from first contact through successful enrollment.
  • Provide post-enrollment support and resolve student queries to ensure a seamless learning journey.


Collaboration & Market Awareness

  • Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to support campaigns and drive higher conversions.
  • Stay updated with EdTech trends, competitive landscape, and industry insights to provide relevant, personalized guidance.


Data & CRM Management

  • Use CRM tools to track, update, and manage student interactions, lead status, and conversion pipelines.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of counseling sessions, follow-ups, and enrollments.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
  • Psychology background is preferred, though candidates from other streams may also apply.
  • 1–10 years of experience in academic counseling, sales, inside sales, customer success, career counseling, or EdTech will be an added advantage.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent listening, empathy, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Confident and comfortable in a sales-oriented role with defined targets.
  • Ability to build rapport and handle objections professionally.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and virtual communication platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.) is a plus.
  • Must be able to relocate to Noida within 7 days of selection.
  • Must be comfortable with the offered salary range.
  • Must have their own laptop (candidates relying on arranged/borrowed laptops will not be considered).
  • Must be available to work full-time from the office in Sector 4, Noida.
