Job Summary:

The Academic Coordinator is responsible for the planning, organization, and coordination of academic programs and processes. This role ensures that educational services are delivered effectively and in alignment with institutional standards and goals. The Academic Coordinator supports faculty, monitors student progress, and oversees curriculum implementation and scheduling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate academic activities including course scheduling, classroom assignments, and faculty allocation.
• Assist in curriculum planning and development in collaboration with department heads and academic leadership.
• Monitor student academic performance and identify students needing academic support or intervention.
• Organize and facilitate academic meetings, workshops, and training for faculty and staff.
• Maintain academic records and ensure accurate data entry in the student information system.
• Support the implementation of academic policies, procedures, and accreditation standards.
• Serve as a liaison between faculty, students, and administration on academic matters.
• Manage assessment and evaluation processes, including exams, grading, and feedback.
• Handle student inquiries and provide academic guidance or referrals as needed.
• Generate reports related to academic performance, attendance, and program effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in academic coordination or administration.
• Knowledge of academic regulations, accreditation processes, and curriculum development.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and education management systems (e.g., PowerSchool, Blackboard, etc.).
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and handle sensitive information with discretion.
