Academic Advisor

You will be working with CollegeDekho, a company established in 2015 with a goal to develop a globally trusted student guidance platform. CollegeDekho employs proprietary technology and an AI-based chatbot to connect aspiring students with colleges. The company's common Application Form platform is India's largest of its kind, allowing students to apply to multiple colleges simultaneously with a single click. To date, CollegeDekho has assisted over 85 lakh students and facilitated 1.3 lakh admissions. They provide information on more than 35,000 colleges and universities nationwide and support over 1500 colleges in student recruitment. CollegeDekho has received funding of over $53Mn from investors such as Winter Capital, ETS Strategic Capital, Calega, Man Capital, Disrupt ADQ, and QIC. As a Telesales Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include counseling students over the phone for admissions in UG & PG Courses, assisting learners with form filling for admission, guiding students to enroll in partner colleges based on assigned targets, maintaining communication with college representatives to aid in the admission conversion process, and keeping daily MIS records of calls and walk-ins. Key skills required for this role include excellent listening and communication abilities, strong interpersonal skills, integrity, professionalism, the capacity to engage with a diverse range of student backgrounds, a passion for working in a sales-oriented environment, initiative in achieving high-velocity closures, the knack for engaging conversations, a bachelor's degree in any discipline, and proficiency in Microsoft Office for data management.
