Job Description

Experience: 7+ Years of experience Mandatory.

Location: Delhi client Onsite 5 days working.


Human Capital Management (HCM)

  1. Business Process Analysis

  • Study the client’s HR processes (e.g., payroll, time management, recruitment).
  • Identify gaps between legacy systems and SAP ECC.
  • Prepare Business Blueprints and Functional Specifications. and sap
  1. Configuration & Customization

  • Configure HR modules like PA (Personnel Administration), OM (Organizational Management), and PY (Payroll).
  • Customize infotypes and implement enhancements using BADIs/User Exits.
  1. Testing & Go-Live Support

  • Conduct unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.
  • Support data migration and post-go-live stabilization.


🔹 ABAP HR-Specific Responsibilities

As a technical consultant, the ABAP HR role includes:

  • Developing custom reports and interfaces using logical databases (PNP, PNPCE).
  • Creating and modifying infotypes and cluster tables (e.g., PCL1, PCL2).
  • Using HR function modules like HR_READ_INFOTYPE, HR_MAINTAIN_MASTERDATA.


🔹 WebDynpro (ABAP) Responsibilities

WebDynpro is used for building dynamic UIs in SAP ECC. Responsibilities include:

  1. Application Development

  • Create standalone and FPM-based WebDynpro applications.
  • Develop controller classes to handle business logic.hireitpeople
  1. Integration

  • Integrate WebDynpro apps with SAP Portal or Fiori Launchpad.
  • Use OData services and SAP Gateway for backend communication.
  1. UI/UX Enhancements

  • Implement context-based adaptations and reusable components.
  • Use MVC design patterns and ABAP OO for scalable architecture.


🔹 Workflow Responsibilities

SAP Business Workflow automates HR processes. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Workflow Design & Development

  • Design workflows using Workflow Builder and Business Object Builder.
  • Develop custom workflows for HR processes like leave approvals, recruitment, and payroll.tutorialspoint

  • Trigger workflows based on infotype changes or events.
  • Use UWL (Universal Worklist) for task management.
  1. Monitoring & Troubleshooting

  • Debug workflows and apply OSS notes.
  • Maintain workflow logs and performance metrics.
