Zypp Electric - Lead - Accounts Receivable

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely invoicing, collections, and reconciliation.
• Monitor outstanding balances and implement effective credit control measures to minimize overdue accounts.
  

Reporting And Analysis

• Prepare regular AR aging reports and present actionable insights to senior management.
• Analyze customer payment trends and recommend process improvements to enhance cash flow.
  

Customer Relationships

• Act as the primary point of contact for AR-related inquiries and disputes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to facilitate smooth payment cycles.
  

Process Optimization

• Identify inefficiencies within the AR processes and lead initiatives for process improvement and automation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations.
  

Team Leadership

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  

Qualifications And Skills

• Education: Qualified CA with a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Experience: 5+ including 2 years in Big 4 (Audit/Assurance) and subsequent exposure to AR, collections, and finance operations in fast-paced environments.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial systems and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks). Advanced Excel skills are essential.
• Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
