Zonal Sales Manager

We are looking for a highly driven and experienced Zonal Sales Manager to lead B2B sales for the assigned region. The role involves managing a regional sales team, driving revenue growth, and expanding our presence in the commercial and industrial solar market. Candidates from any B2B background

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and drive sales targets for the assigned zone by acquiring and managing B2B clients.
• Develop and execute regional sales strategies to penetrate target markets (commercial, industrial, institutional).
• Identify high-potential leads and build a strong sales pipeline for solar energy solutions (rooftop, ground-mount, EPC).
• Lead client discussions, presentations, site visits, proposal submissions, and contract negotiations.
• Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, finance, project management) to deliver customer-centric solutions.
• Track market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform strategy.
• Build and manage a team of Area Sales Managers/Sales Executives; guide performance and development.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and forecasts using CRM tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any field (mandatory).
• Team handling experience is mandatory.
• 58 years of B2B sales experience, preferably with experience in handling high-value deals.
• Strong business acumen and consultative selling skills.
• Experience managing a regional sales team and achieving zonal targets.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned zone.
