Purpose

The Zonal Sales Head West Zone will drive sales and service revenue growth for Company's SynRM motors, controllers and other upcoming new products across Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Goa.

This is a hands-on role where the individual will initially operate as an individual contributor, directly engaging daily with customers to drive business growth. As the business scales, the incumbent will build and lead a team of Branch Managers and Sales Engineers while expanding Company's business in the region. Responsibilities include sales, marketing, network development, customer acquisition, product presentations, securing sample orders, facilitating product validation, and converting these into large-scale SOC (Start of Commercialization)

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify potential customers and execute strategic plans to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Analyse market trends, gather competitive insights, and proactively address factors influencing regional sales growth and profitability.
  • Manage sales-related commercial operations, including payment collections, compliance, and expense control.
  • Share customer feedback and product quality concerns with the Quality Assurance team to enhance product performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Sales- Achieve revenue, volume, and payment collection targets.
  • Customer Acquisition- Number of new customers added monthly.
  • Sample Orders- Number of sample orders secured and completed validations.
  • Firm Orders- Number of confirmed orders received post-validation.
  • Marketing & Promotions- Execution of planned marketing and promotional activities.
  • Dealer & Service Network- Appointment of dealers and service centres as per strategic plans.

Desired Qualifications

Bachelors or Diploma degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Automobile Engineering.

Desired Experience

  • 15+ years of experience in sales of EV Motors, Controllers,
  • Gearboxes, or Auto Components to Automotive or Industrial
  • OEMs in the West Zone. Proven track record in leading large teams and driving regional business growth.
