Position Name: Zabbix Monitoring Specialist (L3) Experience: 6 – 8 Years Roles & Responsibilities . Manage and optimize the Zabbix Enterprise Monitoring platform for critical business systems and network infrastructure. . Redesign monitoring strategies to align with modern IT architectures and technologies. . Prioritize resources and projects related to Zabbix monitoring; provide progress and status updates. . Define and standardize enterprise-wide monitoring metrics for alerting, reporting, and analysis. . Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive, service-driven monitoring strategies. . Design alerting systems and incident response processes across the enterprise. . Work closely with NOC and Performance teams to ensure consistent monitoring visibility and incident management. . Promote automation and a DevOps mindset within the monitoring team. Skills Required . 8-10 years of IT experience with strong expertise in Zabbix administration and integrations (version 7.0+). . Experience in monitoring critical systems and network infrastructure. . Hands-on knowledge of at least 3 monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Nagios, SCOM, SolarWinds, Splunk, DataDog). . Proficient in using APIs for integrations and automation (Zabbix API mandatory). . Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills for Zabbix components. . Experience managing multiple Zabbix proxies/servers and HA setups. . Working knowledge of Windows and Linux OS administration. . Familiar with LAN/WAN networking concepts and Unified Communications (VOIP, video, telecom). . Experience with ITSM and workflow tools such as ServiceNow. . Experience with SCM tools and PostgreSQL database management.
