Workday Specialist

As a Workday Technical Lead at PTC, you will drive platform stability, governance, and innovation across Workday to ensure secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions that enable global HR and business operations. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the Workday technical landscape to optimize architecture, configuration, and security for performance and compliance. - Evolve Workday Security, including domain, business process, and role-based access frameworks. - Translate functional needs into scalable, secure technical solutions by partnering with HR, IT, and business stakeholders. - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a cross-functional team, ensuring alignment with enterprise technology and governance standards. - Drive agile delivery practices to efficiently deliver solutions iteratively. - Manage platform enhancements, including testing, release planning, and environment strategy. - Maintain deep knowledge of Workday functionality across multiple modules, including Core HCM, Compensation, Talent, and Absence. - Proactively evaluate new Workday releases and AI-driven capabilities to identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience). - 6-8 years of hands-on experience working within the Workday platform, with expertise in configuration, security, and platform administration. - Minimum of 2 years leading teams or workstreams in an Agile environment (Scrum or Kanban). - Strong understanding of Workday Security, Business Process Framework, and tenant management. - Ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with a focus on collaboration and accountability. Preferred Skills: - Experience with Workday Recruiting and Talent Management modules. - Exposure to Workday AI capabilities and practical application of AI tools within HR processes. - Experience integrating people data with enterprise systems (e.g., Finance, IT, Analytics platforms). - Familiarity with Workday integration tools (EIB, Core Connectors, Studio, REST/SOAP APIs) a plus, but not required. - Workday certification(s) in Security, HCM, or related domains preferred.
