Job Description

These two roles sit within our HRIS team which is part of the wider People Operations HR team. Our HRIS technology stack is primarily Workday and these two roles will be for our Workday HCM and Workday Recruiting product owners.

As a Workday product owner at Vialto, you will be directly interacting with our internal HR functional leads. You will understand their HR objectives and work with them to develop, adjust and deploy the appropriate Workday functionality to meet their needs and objectives in supporting the wider Vialto employee community.

This will require you to be able to understand the HR requirements and HR processes in great detail and interpret these needs into the Workday HCM or Recruiting functionality and configuration requirements. You will stay on top of Workday release updates, identifying opportunities to deploy new functionality that will enhance the Workday experience and optimise our processes.

You will work closely with our level 1 Workday support team who are dealing with the day to day cases. As the product owner you will be the point of escalation for the level 1 team where there are any requirements to adjust business process design and fundamental configuration principles.

We are a small HRIS function and as such, there are opportunities to get involved in all aspects of Workday products beyond your primary responsibility. This could involve Workday Learning, Workday Talent, Workday Reporting and Workday Help.

We have an exciting roadmap ahead of us this year with the deployment of Workday Journeys and various persona data hubs. Someone with a curious mind and desire to learn and develop the Workday product will find this a fantastic opportunity.

Ideally you'll be Workday certified with upwards of 5 years in the Workday ecosystem with either an HCM or Recruiting focus. An understanding and ability to build Workday Reports is an added bonus.

Collaborate with HR and IT teams to identify system needs, improvements, and integration opportunities.

Lead the implementation and deployment of new Workday features, modules, and upgrades.

Ensure the accuracy and integrity of HR data within the system by developing data quality protocols.

Create and maintain documentation, including process guides, user manuals, and system workflows.

Develop and generate regular and ad-hoc HR reports, analytics, and dashboards for HR and leadership via self service.

Provide end-user support and training to HR staff and employees on Workday functionalities.

Manage security and access controls for Workday users to maintain data privacy and compliance.

Lead system testing and ensure quality assurance for system changes and updates.

Stay current with Workday trends and best practices to suggest improvements and innovations.

Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.

Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations, security protocols, and industry standards.

Participate in strategic discussions to align Workday functionality with broader HR and organizational goals.
