Workday Developer

• Requirements Gathering: Work closely with HRIS to understand integration needs and translate them into technical specifications.
• Integrations Design: Design, develop, and maintain Workday integrations using tools such as Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and REST/SOAP APIs, based on requirements provided by the HRIS team.
• Testing and Validation: Conduct unit testing, system integration testing, and support user acceptance testing to ensure integrations meet business requirements and function as expected. Troubleshoot and resolve issues throughout the testing and implementation phases.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for all assigned integrations, including design specifications, test plans.
• Solution Design: Conduct in-depth research to identify and propose technical solutions to challenges, offering guidance and options. Utilize solutions leveraging Workday technologies such as Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), and Workday Web Services. Ensure solutions align with best practices and meet business objectives.
• Compliance and Security: Ensure all integrations comply with company policies, data protection regulations, and industry standards. Monitor and enhance the security of integrations to protect sensitive data.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Workday Developer or Consultant, with a strong focus on Workday integrations (e.g., Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, APIs).
• Strong understanding of integration technologies such as XML, XSLT, SOAP, REST, and Workday Web Services, WECI.
• Proficiency in Workday Studio, Workday EIB, Workday Cloud Connect, WECI, and other integration tools.
• Deep expertise in building and enhancing integrations for Workday HCM and related modules (e.g., Payroll, Recruiting, Benefits, or Talent Management).
• Experience with testing Workday integrations, including troubleshooting and validating data flows.
• Familiarity with Workday security configuration and business process frameworks as they relate to integrations.
• Advanced/Expert level excel skills (x-lookup, v-lookup, advanced pivot table techniques, macros, functions, formulas, etc.)
• Excellent analytical, diagnostic, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities. While maintaining excellent verbal and written communications.
