Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a WordPress Developer located in Okhla. The WordPress Developer will be responsible for the development and maintenance of websites using WordPress. Daily tasks will include developing front-end and back-end components, ensuring responsive web design, and working closely with the design team to implement web designs. The developer will also troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, optimize website performance, and ensure site security.

E3 Group is seeking a skilled and experienced WordPress Developer with strong proficiency in both frontend and backend development. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress-based websites and applications. Solid expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and working knowledge of AWS infrastructure is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

➡️ Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins

➡️ Customize and optimize WordPress websites for performance, speed, and scalability

➡️ Implement and manage website architecture and technical frameworks

➡️ Troubleshoot bugs and resolve issues promptly

➡️ Integrate third-party APIs and services

➡️ Deploy and manage WordPress websites on AWS

➡️ Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness

➡️ Collaborate with designers, marketers, and developers to ensure high-quality output

Required Skills:

➡️ Minimum 2 years of professional WordPress development experience

➡️ Expertise in frontend and backend development using WordPress

➡️ Strong command over HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP

➡️ Experience with AWS hosting and deployment tools

➡️ Understanding of Core Web Vitals and web performance optimization

➡️ Proficiency in MySQL database management

➡️ Familiarity with RESTful APIs and AJAX

➡️ Experience with Git or similar version control systems

➡️ Strong debugging and analytical problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

➡️ Hands-on experience with Elementor, WPBakery, or similar builders

➡️ Knowledge of SEO principles and on-page implementation

➡️ Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows

➡️ Exposure to Agile or Scrum development environments
