Windows Server Administrator

The Windows Server Administrator is responsible for managing, configuring, and maintaining Windows-based server environments. This role ensures high availability, security, and optimal performance of Windows infrastructure, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server operating systems.
• Troubleshoot Windows server issues.
• Implement security hardening and compliance.
• Manage, Troubleshoot Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy issues.
• Perform server patching, updates, and performance tuning.
• Implement security measures and compliance standards.
• Monitor server health and troubleshoot issues.
• Execute backup and disaster recovery operations.
• Document configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps.
• Collaborate with IT teams for upgrades and infrastructure improvements.

• Active Directory & Group Policy

• PowerShell scripting for automation
• Hyper-V and VMware virtualization
• Backup and disaster recovery tools
• Security hardening and monitoring

• Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
• Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
• ITIL Foundation (preferred)
