Windows Server Administrator

As a Microsoft Windows Server Administrator, your role will involve the installation and configuration of Windows server operating systems. You will be responsible for a range of key tasks including: - Proficiency with Windows server 2008/2012/2016/2019 for installations, upgrades, configurations, licensing, and troubleshooting. - Good understanding of daily tasks related to Microsoft technologies, including windows patching activities. - Experience in handling server patching through SCCM, SCCM Patch Deployment, Remediation, and SCCM Package creation. - Expertise in Group Policy creation and Deployment. - Securing, administering, and resolving technical issues for customers across various areas such as OS level, webserver, database server, applications server, DNS, SMTP, user management, permissions, and other software issues. - Knowledge of OS-specific web hosts and database technologies like MSSQL/IIS for Windows, as well as SSL and DNS. - Familiarity with Active Directory for Windows specialization and participation in Disaster Recovery (DR) activities. - Maintenance of incident management, issue resolution workflows, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). - Strong understanding of AD, DNS, DHCP, File server, VMware, DC, and DR. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with attention to detail, documentation, and organizational skills. - Awareness of ITIL Process and its lifecycle.
