Must Have Skills: Expertise on ADDS/DNS/DHCP/GPO/Performance tuning, VMware Infra Management, Backup Administration

Good To Have Skills: CommVault Backup Management, Exchange Server Management, Logic Monitor, Box

Skills:

• Windows Expert preferably on Windows Server, VMware, Citrix Infra, Nutanix platform
• Adhere best practices of ITIL
• Expertise in DNS, DHCP, DFS and Active Directory
• Advance windows OS installation, configuration and troubleshooting
• Good knowledge of OS performance fine tunning
• Share Permission management and migration of Shares
• Patch, Vulnerability and remediation Management
• Knowledge of monitoring & Management tools like logic Monitor, VCenter, SolarWinds etc.
• Functional Knowledge of SCCM
• Hands-On experience on storage and multipathing
• Advance Microsoft cluster configuration, Management and troubleshooting
• VMWare Virtualization configuration, management & troubleshooting issues for performance.
• Hands-On experience of Citrix VDI environment.
• Working knowledge of Backup and restoration solution (Commvault Preferred)
• Certificate Management
• Co-ordinate with Vendors
• Physical RAID configuration and troubleshooting
• Good Knowledge of MSSQL and troubleshooting between OS and database
• Working Knowledge of ITSM tools. (Service Now Preferred)
• Cross platform awareness

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Carry out the complex level of troubleshooting on Windows Server OS
• Participate in Change Management meetings, Review Technical designs
• Sync up with Management, Prepare reports and capacity planning
• Train/Monitor L1/L2 teams, Handle Major Incidents
• Timely update of INC/RITM and providing RCA within SLA
• Timely execution of Change requests as scheduled
• Designing, and implementation of Server Infrastructure
• Working with Vendors Support to mitigate the issue
• performance analysis of data using monitoring Tool
• Identify and Analyse performance improvement areas and prepare detailed plan for execution
• Carry out OS, application and firmware upgrades as and when required
• Implementation of solutions as per Scope defined
• Work towards automation of everyday repeated tasks
• Troubleshoot VDI issues.
• Work on problem ticket, identify root cause, prepare and review RCA documents.
• Manage and troubleshoot Virtualization Platforms.
• Should have knowledge and understanding of user problems and works towards their resolution in timely and efficient manner for improving overall customer experience.
• Should work towards enhancement of his skill set on a continual basis.
• Coordinate with Onsite team for updates/KT/Documentations/Tasks.

Qualifications: B. Tech/B.E. Computers/IT, Graduation/PG in Computers/IT

Certifications: MCSE, VCA/VCP, ITIL
