Weighbridge Operator

Job Description

1. Operating the Weighbridge System Weighing incoming and outgoing vehicles accurately. Ensuring proper functioning of the weighbridge equipment and software. Recording weights manually or electronically using weighbridge software. 2. Data Entry and Record-Keeping Logging vehicle details (e.g., registration number, driver name, load description). Maintaining accurate records for audit, billing, and compliance purposes. Printing and issuing weighbridge tickets. 3. Ensuring Compliance Checking for vehicle overloading to ensure legal weight limits. Adhering to health, safety, and environmental regulations. Ensuring drivers follow proper procedures while on site. 4. Communication Liaising with drivers, warehouse staff, dispatch, and management. Giving clear instructions to drivers for loading/unloading and weighing procedures. 5. Maintenance & Troubleshooting Reporting and/or helping resolve any technical issues with the weighbridge. Performing routine checks and basic maintenance of the weighbridge equipment. 6. Security and Access Control Monitoring and controlling vehicle access to the site.
