Job Title: Website Developer

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web

Development, or a related field.

Experience:

• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in educational websites, student portals,

or e-learning platforms.

Key Technical Skills Required:

• Frontend: HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks such as React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Backend: PHP, Python, Node.js
• CMS Platforms: WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, or equivalent
• Additional Tools & Knowledge: SEO best practices, UI/UX design principles,

accessibility standards, website performance optimization, and basic cybersecurity

principles.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and Develop responsive, accessible, and user-friendly websites using modern

UI/UX principles.

2. Integrate and Maintain CMS systems to allow easy content updates and scalability.

3. Ensure SEO Optimization, site speed, and cross-browser compatibility.

4. Implement security protocols to safeguard user data and prevent vulnerabilities.

5. Collaborate with content creators, designers, and the academic/admin teams to ensure the

website meets institutional goals.

6. Monitor website analytics and provide regular reports for continuous improvement.

7. Stay updated with emerging web technologies and best practices to ensure innovation and

functionality.

Preferred Attributes:

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Experience in educational or institutional digital platforms is a plus
• Knowledge of integration with ERP, LMS, or payment gateways would be an added

advantage
