Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Website Developer (Executive Level) to manage and maintain our WordPress-based website. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with WordPress themes, plugins, SEO optimization, security, and performance tuning.

In addition to WordPress expertise, candidates with working knowledge or hands-on experience in Core PHP, JavaScript frameworks (such as React.js), Java, or other modern front-end/back-end technologies will be preferred. This role is perfect for someone looking to grow with a fast-moving company while laying the foundation for future web development projects.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the company’s WordPress websites (updates, backups, performance, and security).
• Design and implement new features and functionalities.
• Customize themes and plugins as per business requirements.
• Optimize website performance (speed, mobile responsiveness, SEO).
• Troubleshoot bugs, errors, and issues promptly.
• Collaborate with marketing, design, and content teams to enhance UX/UI.
• Ensure website compliance with modern security protocols.
• Support integration of third-party tools and APIs.
• Provide recommendations for website scalability and new tech adoption.

Requirements:

• 1–2 years of proven work experience in WordPress development.
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
• Familiarity with cPanel, hosting environments, FTP, and DNS.
• Experience working with custom themes and page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery).
• Ability to handle debugging tools like Chrome Inspector and Firebug.
• Understanding of SEO best practices related to web development.

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage):

• Knowledge of Core PHP, React.js, Java, or other backend/frontend frameworks.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Experience with headless CMS or hybrid web solutions.
• Ability to manage REST APIs and third-party integrations.
• Exposure to e-commerce platforms like WooCommerce or Shopify (optional).
