We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Lead PHP Laravel Developer to oversee a team of developers, ensure high-quality project delivery, and contribute to building scalable web applications. The ideal candidate should have an in-depth understanding of PHP, Laravel, and modern development practices, with proven leadership experience. What You'll Do Team Leadership & Mentorship : Lead, mentor, and technically guide a team of PHP Laravel developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and support the professional growth of team members. Architectural Design & Development : Oversee the design and development of robust, highly scalable, and secure web applications and services primarily using PHP and Laravel. Contribute to architectural decisions, ensuring solutions are modular, resilient, and cloud-native. API Development : Design and implement highly efficient and well-documented RESTful APIs. Database Management : Lead efforts in database design, optimization, and the writing of complex SQL queries for MySQL. Microservices & Containerization : Drive the adoption and implementation of microservices architecture. Utilize containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes for deployment and management. Agile Project Management : Apply strong expertise in Agile development methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban. Effectively plan and manage sprints, ensuring timely and high-quality project delivery. Version Control : Ensure proficient use of Git for version control, including advanced branching, merging, and repository management strategies. Problem Solving : Apply strong problem-solving skills, thinking critically and creatively to overcome technical challenges and deliver innovative solutions. Collaboration & Communication : Facilitate excellent communication and collaboration within the development team and with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, QA, DevOps, UI/UX) and stakeholders. Best Practices : Champion coding standards, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives within the team. Key Skills And Qualifications Technical Skills : PHP Laravel : Expertise in building scalable applications, designing RESTful APIs. MySQL : Skilled in database design, optimization, and writing complex SQL queries. Microservices Architecture : Hands-on experience with microservices, containerization tools like Docker, and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Git : Proficient in version control, including branching, merging, and repository management. Leadership & Methodologies Proven experience leading and mentoring development teams. Strong expertise in Agile development methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban. Ability to plan and manage sprints effectively.
