Develop, configure, test, and deploy integration services using WebMethods components such as Integration Server, Trading Networks, and Universal Messaging
Translate technical specifications and design documents provided by Integration Architects into working code
Build and maintain integration flows between internal systems and external partners using appropriate protocols REST, SOAP, FTP, etc
Handle data mapping, transformation, and orchestration using WebMethods tools and standard formats XML, JSON, flat files)
Collaborate closely with architects, analysts, QA, and operations teams to ensure successful delivery of integration projects
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing integrations, including performance tuning and bug fixes
Ensure adherence to coding standards, integration best practices, and enterprise security guidelines
Maintain and update technical documentation related to integration components and deployments
Develop and oversee API strategies, including API-led connectivity and microservices architecture
Provide technical leadership in middleware, enterprise service bus ESB, and event-driven architectures
Collaborate with business and IT teams to understand integration needs and ensure alignment with enterprise goals
Ensure scalability, performance, security, and governance of integration solutions
Conduct assessments of existing integration landscapes and recommend improvements
Lead and mentor development teams in implementing integration solutions
Stay up to date with emerging integration technologies, trends, and best practices
Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams
Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
3 years of experience working with IBM WebMethods suite
Proficient in Integration Server / Trading Networks, Designer, Universal Messaging
Strong knowledge of data formats and communication protocols XML, JSON, REST, SOAP, FTP, etc
Familiarity with messaging patterns and concepts (eg ,pub-sub, request-response)
Understanding of exception handling, logging frameworks, and error recovery mechanisms
Knowledge of security protocols and standards, including OAuth, JWT, SAML, and SSL/TLS
Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced consulting environment
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
