Web Development Intern

Overview We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Web Developer Intern to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications and sites, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. You will work on both the client-facing components and server-side functionality, collaborating closely with designers, content creators, and other team members to deliver exceptional user experiences. Responsibilities Development Support Assist in building and custom web application for container booking platform. Implement responsive designs to ensure the website performs well across devices. Help create user-friendly interfaces for booking containers and tracking shipments. API Integration Support the integration of third-party APIs for shipment tracking, payment gateways, and other functionalities. Test API connections to ensure smooth communication between the website backend and external services. Optimization & Testing Optimize website performance for speed and scalability under supervision of senior developers. Conduct testing to identify bugs or issues and assist in debugging processes. Security & Data Management Learn about security best practices and assist in implementing measures to protect user data. Support the team in managing booking data, shipment details, invoices, and customer information securely. Collaboration & Learning Collaborate with designers, project managers, and senior developers to align technical solutions with business goals. Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to share ideas and learn from experienced professionals. Required Qualifications Technical Skills Basic understanding of Node.js, React.js , HTML5 , CSS3 , JavaScript , and MySQL. Familiarity with WordPress (themes, plugins, dashboard functionality). Knowledge of responsive design principles is preferred. Education & Experience Currently pursuing a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or a related field. Previous experience working on web related projects (academic or personal) is a plus but not mandatory. Preferred Qualifications Additional Skills Familiarity with APIs or willingness to learn API integration techniques. Basic knowledge of e-commerce tools like WooCommerce is a bonus. Interest in logistics or shipping-related technologies is desirable but not required.
