Key Responsibilities

1.⁠ ⁠Website Development & Design

• Build modern, responsive websites using WordPress, custom builders, and other CMS / frameworks.

• Develop entire websites end-to-end for customers across Australia and globally.

• Update, maintain, and enhance existing customer websites.

• Ensure pixel-perfect UI/UX and high-quality design outcomes.

• Implement best practices for site speed, mobile optimisation, accessibility, and SEO fundamentals.

2.⁠ ⁠Technical Ownership

• Work across multiple tech stacks and website technologies as required.

• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues promptly.

• Integrate APIs, plugins, themes, and custom modules when needed.

• Handle hosting, migration, DNS, backups, and security considerations.

3.⁠ ⁠Client Communication & Requirement Gathering

• Communicate with customers confidently and clearly in English.

• Understand project requirements, business goals, and desired outcomes.

• Provide recommendations, wireframes, and improvements proactively.

• Participate in customer meetings when required.

4.⁠ ⁠Project Delivery

• Manage multiple website projects simultaneously with speed and accuracy.

• Meet deadlines consistently—no excuses.

• Demonstrate “ownership mindset” and get things done without follow-up.

5.⁠ ⁠Continuous Learning & Growth

• Stay updated with latest design trends, plugins, CMS improvements, and technologies.

• Innovate and bring new ideas to improve quality, performance, and customer experience.

Key Skills & Requirements

Technical Skills

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in website development.

• Strong experience with WordPress (themes, builders, plugins, customisation).

• Experience with other CMS platforms (Shopify, Webflow, Joomla, etc.) is a plus.

• Strong HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP fundamentals.

• Understanding of SEO-friendly development.

• Experience in website optimisation, speed boosting, and troubleshooting.

• Excellent English communication – written and verbal.

• Strong attention to detail and design alignment.

• Highly organised with the ability to handle multiple projects.

• Proven experience in a digital marketing agency environment.
