Web Developer Intern

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy Web Intern to support our e-commerce website operations, content updates, and front-end development tasks. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates or graduated who want hands-on experience in managing an online store, optimizing user experience, and working with web technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Shopify Website Support

• Assist in building and customizing Shopify stores.
• Update product pages, collections, pricing, and inventory.
• Work on Shopify themes using basic HTML, CSS, and Liquid (if applicable).
• Install and configure apps for functionality, marketing, and optimization.
• Test website functionality: checkout, navigation, mobile responsiveness.

WordPress Website Support

• Assist in creating pages and blogs using Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.
• Update website layouts, images, banners, and content.
• Install and configure plugins (SEO, performance, security, forms).
• Perform basic theme edits using HTML/CSS.
• Monitor site performance, speed, and user experience.

E-Commerce Content & Operations

• Upload products, metadata, and SEO details.
• Optimize images, descriptions, and landing pages for conversions.
• Support marketing and design team with website updates for campaigns.

Quality Assurance & Testing

• Conduct regular website audits for errors, broken links, or slow-loading pages.
• Ensure responsive design across mobile, tablet, and desktop.
• Test new features and updates before publishing live.

Analytics & Reporting

• Track performance using Shopify Analytics / WordPress tools.
• Prepare weekly performance reports and suggest improvements.

Qualifications & Skills

• Pursuing or completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, Web Design, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of Shopify or WordPress is required.
• Ability to troubleshoot layout or plugin issues.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
