Web Developer Intern

As a motivated and detail-oriented WordPress Developer Intern, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining WordPress websites during a 3-month, full-time internship. Your role will involve customizing WordPress themes, building responsive layouts, converting designs into functional web pages, debugging HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP issues, as well as collaborating with various teams to ensure project delivery on schedule. Key Responsibilities: - Customize WordPress themes based on project requirements - Create responsive layouts using visual page builders such as Elementor - Transform UI/UX designs from Figma or PSD into fully functional web pages - Identify and resolve basic HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP issues - Work closely with designers, developers, and content teams to deliver high-quality projects - Conduct website testing across devices and optimize for performance and responsiveness Requirements: - Foundational understanding of WordPress CMS, themes, plugins, and admin panel - Familiarity with PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment - Effective communication and time-management abilities - Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field What You'll Learn: - Hands-on experience in professional WordPress development - Utilization of Git and other version-control workflows - Industry best practices for web development, performance, and SEO optimization - Exposure to live project lifecycles and client requirements - Collaboration within a multidisciplinary, professional development team Qualification Required: - Recent graduates of B.Tech, BCA, and MCA are encouraged to apply - Candidates from the Calicut region are preferred Note: The job is an Internship with a contract length of 3 months, located in Kozhikode, Kerala.
