Job Description

Role Overview: As a Water Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, evaluating, and optimizing water treatment systems for drinking water, desalination, and wastewater treatment projects. Your expertise in regulatory compliance with US codes and standards will be crucial in supporting key projects across the US. Key Responsibilities: - Design, evaluate, and optimize water treatment systems such as membrane filtration, reverse osmosis, UV disinfection, and MBR for various applications. - Focus on California-specific projects, including municipal, industrial, or infrastructure upgrades, with an emphasis on drought resilience, water recycling, and desalination. - Conduct feasibility studies, pilot testing, and process modeling using relevant tools. - Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations from SWRCB, EPA, NPDES, and Title 22. - Provide technical support for bids, proposals, and client presentations. - Prepare technical specifications, calculations, and drawings for water treatment processes and related infrastructure. - Support project execution from concept to commissioning by coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or a related field. - 8-12 years of experience in water treatment plants, including drinking water, desalination, water treatment, and wastewater treatment. - Experience working with water treatment systems design, optimization, and project execution. - Familiarity with regulatory compliance with US codes and standards. - Strong background in design, optimization, and project execution for water treatment systems. - Experience in supporting California-specific projects with a focus on drought resilience, water recycling, and desalination.,
