Job Summary:

The Warranty Incharge is responsible for managing and processing all vehicle warranty claims as per manufacturer guidelines. The role ensures accurate documentation, timely claim submission, and coordination with service, parts, and accounts departments to maintain compliance and maximize warranty recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and submit warranty claims to the manufacturer or distributor within the prescribed time frame.
• Verify repair orders, job cards, and invoices for accuracy before submission.
• Ensure all warranty repairs are carried out according to manufacturer policies and procedures.
• Maintain detailed records of all warranty claims, approvals, and rejections.
• Coordinate with service advisors and technicians to gather required documentation and technical reports.
• Monitor claim status and follow up with OEM for pending or rejected claims.
• Prepare periodic warranty performance reports and analyze claim trends.
• Train service staff on warranty policies, claim submission, and documentation requirements.
• Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with manufacturer standards.
• Support the workshop team in identifying potential warranty jobs and cost recovery opportunities.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Diploma / Degree in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.
• 1–4 years of experience in warranty handling in an automobile dealership or authorized service center.
• Strong understanding of OEM warranty policies and systems.
• Proficiency in DMS / ERP systems and MS Office applications.
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical thinking.
