Job Description

The Warehouse Incharge will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations including receiving, storing, dispatching, inventory management, and ensuring smooth coordination between warehouse and retail outlets. The role requires strong organizational skills, accuracy, and the ability to maintain high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inventory & Stock Management

  • Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing stock.
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock audits.
  • Coordinate with procurement and production teams for stock requirements.
  • Ensure proper storage of products to avoid damage, leakage, or spoilage.
  • Monitor stock levels and notify management for replenishment.

2. Receiving & Dispatching

  • Oversee unloading and receiving of goods with proper documentation (GRN, invoices, etc.).
  • Verify quantity and quality of received items.
  • Plan and execute dispatches to outlets, distributors, or clients.
  • Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and timely dispatch.

3. Warehouse Operations

  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of the warehouse.
  • Optimize warehouse layout for efficient storage and movement of goods.
  • Ensure compliance with safety rules and hygiene standards.
  • Handle equipment (trolleys, pallet jacks, etc.) and ensure they are maintained.

4. Team Management

  • Supervise warehouse staff, helpers, and drivers.
  • Allocate daily tasks and monitor productivity.
  • Provide training on handling, storage, and safety procedures.
  • Maintain a disciplined and efficient work environment.

5. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain daily stock registers and ERP/WMS entries.
  • Prepare daily dispatch reports, stock variance reports, and audit summaries.
  • Ensure all documents (invoices, delivery notes, return notes) are properly filed.
  • Report damages, shortages, or discrepancies immediately.

6. Security & Compliance

  • Implement measures to prevent theft, stock loss, and unauthorized access.
  • Monitor CCTV and warehouse security protocols.
  • Ensure fire safety equipment is functional and accessible.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in warehouse management.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory systems (ERP/WMS preferred).
  • Good communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to handle physical work when required.
  • High accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of safety and compliance standards.

Preferred Industry Experience:

Perfume, FMCG, Cosmetics, Retail, Manufacturing, or related industries.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
