Warehouse manager _Plywood industry

Manage and control all inventory, logistics, and warehouse activities for a plywood manufacturing and distribution facility. The Warehouse Manager is a key leader responsible for operational efficiency, team supervision, safety compliance, and meeting productivity targets. Responsibilities

• Inventory and stock management: Control and manage inventory levels for all raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished plywood products. This includes performing regular cycle counts and full physical stock takes to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Receiving operations: Oversee the receipt and documentation of all incoming goods, such as timber and chemicals. Ensure quality checks are performed and products are stored safely and correctly.
• Dispatch and distribution: Coordinate the picking, packing, and dispatch of finished plywood products to customers, suppliers, and other company warehouses. Liaise with transport companies to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
• Operational efficiency: Optimize warehouse layouts and material flow to ensure efficient space utilization. Implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste.
• Team leadership: Recruit, train, supervise, and appraise warehouse staff. Organize work rotas, assign daily tasks, and motivate the team to achieve operational goals.
• Health and safety compliance: Enforce all health, safety, and security procedures to maintain a safe working environment. This includes ensuring the safe operation and maintenance of equipment like forklifts and other handling machinery.
• Equipment and maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of warehouse equipment and coordinate maintenance or repairs as needed to minimize downtime.
• Reporting and administration: Maintain accurate records of all warehouse activities. Generate reports on stock status, KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), and dead stock.
• Budget management: Assist in preparing the annual warehouse budget by forecasting expenses and monitoring costs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
