Job Summary:

The Warehouse/Logistics In charge is responsible for managing daily warehouse operations, which includes overseeing inventory control, staff, and safety. Their duties involve managing the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, optimizing warehouse layout, and ensuring timely and accurate order fulfilment. The role also includes maintaining a safe and secure environment, monitoring key performance metrics, and complying with regulations.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Inventory management:

• Overseeing inventory levels, conducting stock takes, and ensuring accuracy.
• Managing the receiving, storing, and dispatch of goods.
• Tracking stock levels, quantity, and quality.

• Warehouse operations:

• Managing the day-to-day activities of the warehouse.
• Planning and executing logistics, including shipping, receiving, and distribution.
• Optimizing warehouse layout and space utilization.

• Staff and team management:

• Supervising, coaching, and training warehouse staff.
• Scheduling employees and assigning tasks.
• Motivating the team to meet productivity targets.

• Safety and compliance:

• Maintaining health, safety, and security standards within the warehouse.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, customs, and regulations.
• Enforcing safety procedures and maintaining equipment.

• Performance and reporting:

• Monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess efficiency.
• Preparing and presenting regular reports on warehouse performance and activities.

• Liaison and problem-solving:

• Coordinating with suppliers, transport companies, and other departments.
• Resolving any issues or complaints that may arise.

• Experience in

  stock audits

  , physical verification, and reconciliation
• Ability to operate

  ERP systems

  (Tally / SAP / customized ERP)
• Capability to supervise

  loading/unloading operations

  and manage day-to-day warehouse activities

• Graduate (preferably in Commerce, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Management) or Diploma in Warehouse Management / Logistics
• Minimum

  3 to 5 years

  of experience in warehouse operations
• Male candidate will be preferred.
