Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Assist in managing end-to-end store operations at the mining site.
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials as per purchase orders and technical specifications.
Ensure proper storage, identification, and handling of materials, consumables, and critical spares.
Maintain accurate stock records in software.
Conduct regular stock audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation of inventory discrepancies.
Monitor minimum/maximum levels and ensure timely reordering of essential items.
Coordinate with purchase, maintenance, production, and logistics teams for material requirement planning.
Ensure safe, clean, and organized warehouse conditions in compliance with mining site safety standards.
Prepare GRN, issue slips, material return notes, and related documentation.
Support vendor follow-ups, dispatch planning, and documentation for material movement (inward/outward).
Assist the Store Manager in preparing MIS reports and daily/weekly stock summaries.
