Job Description

Role & responsibilities

CMM inspector/Programmer:

Experience in operating coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and knowledge of CMM programming software preferably Calypso.
Interpret and apply AS9100, customer specifications, and detailed aerospace drawings, including GD&T requirements.
Analyse measurement data to ensure parts conform to quality standards.
Assist with root cause analysis and corrective action processes when non-conformances are identified.
Implementation of CMM automation, and inline inspection technologies.
Implementation of CMM Fixtures.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inspection efficiency and reliability.
Maintain detailed records of inspections and measurement results.
Strong knowledge of AS9100.
Experience with CMM, GD&T, SPC, NDT, and metrology tools.
Proficiency in quality tools like 8D, 5-Why, DMAIC, and PFMEA.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Qualification

Experience:

Quality Inspector/Engineer:

Knowledge of In process Inspection & Final inspection activities.
Monitor Corrective Actions & Preventive Actions.
Exposure to Quality management Systems accordance with AS9100.
NC closing through 7 QC Tools .
Review of Non-Conformances every day and find out Root Cause and corrective actions with target.
Knowledge on GD&T .
Handling of various Instrument / Equipment, like Micrometer, Vernier caliper, Height master, Contour tester, VMS.
Contribute for Continual Improvements.
Co-ordinating with production team & other CFT for the Quality Issues.
Data Collection and Analysis tools like SPC, Minitab.
Exposure to quality concepts like PPAP, SPC, 8D Analysis, 5S & Supplier Quality.

Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma in Mechanical -5- 7 Years or BE/B. Tech - 4-6 Years.

Preferred candidate profile

Who have experience in Aerospace/Precision Manufacturing industry
