You will be responsible for programming, operating, and maintaining the Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) while collaborating with cross-functional teams to uphold the integrity of our manufacturing processes. Reporting to the Quality Head , you will play a key part in driving continuous improvement in our measurement and inspection processes. Key Responsibilities: CMM Programming & Operation: Develop and execute CMM programs using software like Tangram to inspect precision components. Conduct dimensional inspections and generate detailed measurement reports . Quality Control & Inspection: Perform first-article inspections (FAI), in-process inspections, and final inspections to ensure adherence to design specifications. Work closely with Production & Engineering teams to troubleshoot deviations and implement corrective actions. Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement: Analyze measurement data to detect trends, inconsistencies, and potential process improvements. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in measurement techniques and inspection methods. Compliance & Documentation: Ensure compliance with ISO standards, GD&T principles, and industry best practices . Maintain calibration records and CMM logs for audits and traceability. Collaboration & Communication: Act as a liaison between the Quality, Design, and Production teams to resolve quality issues and optimize manufacturing precision. Provide technical training and mentorship to junior team members on CMM operations and quality inspection techniques. Role & responsibilities Responsible for developing offline CMM Programming and execution in PCDMIS software. Continuous shop floor support for FAI, Trouble shooting, Continuous improvement and for production parts in CMM inspection. Carry out programming related activity for example: CMM program collision detection, Validation, SOP. Knowledge of OMM and Equator machine. Knowledge of machining of aerospace components Aluminum, Titanium, Inconel, Steel, Forging ranging from smaller to larger parts. Strong knowledge of engineering, engineering drawing, manufacturing process, requirement for aerospace industry and GD&T. Attending cross functional team meeting to define inspection technique. Good communication skills, to interact with cross functional teams during new product development.

Operating CMMs: Using Zeiss Calypso software to operate CMMs, including setting up and calibrating the machine for inspection runs. Programming CMMs: Developing and optimizing measurement programs for CMMs using Calypso, potentially including creating programs from CAD files or other inputs. Measurement and Inspection: Conducting precise measurements and inspections of machined parts to verify dimensions, tolerances, and other quality parameters. Data Analysis: Analyzing CMM data, interpreting results, and identifying potential issues or deviations from specifications. Reporting: Preparing detailed inspection reports and documentation, and maintaining accurate records of inspection activities. Troubleshooting: Conducting regular maintenance and troubleshooting of CMM machines to ensure their proper functioning. Collaboration: Working with other team members, including engineers and machinists, to optimize inspection processes and improve overall quality.

Should have knowledge in operating CMM ( Zeiss Contura ) and should be capable of preparing AQP, PPAP, PDI documents.
