Visual Merchandiser

Role Overview: As the Unit VM Head (Home Stop), your primary role is to oversee the visual merchandising function within the unit. You will be responsible for maintaining the visual presentation of the store, standardizing merchandise displays, and managing the placement of fixtures. Additionally, you will be involved in planning and executing display calendars, training retail staff on VM and merchandise presentation, managing signages, and conceptualizing designs for focal points and windows. Event management, cost monitoring, documentation of VM activities, and vendor management are also key aspects of this role. Key Responsibilities: - Visual presentation of the store - Standardization of visual presentation of merchandise - Placement of fixtures as per the planogram - Planning a display calendar for the unit - Training retail staff on VM and merchandise presentation - Managing signages for in-store and brands - Conceptualizing design and execution of focal points - Ensuring focal points align with the planogram - Designing storyboards for windows in the store - Planning, conceptualizing, and executing VM for events - Liaising with Marketing for in-store communication and events - Monitoring costs for VM and ensuring spends are within budgets - Maintaining mannequins - Managing VM props and elements - Documenting VM activities and budgets - Sourcing vendors for VM elements - Outsourcing VM design execution Qualifications Required: - Proven experience in visual merchandising - Strong creative and design skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment - Strong organizational and project management skills - Knowledge of cost management and budgeting - Vendor management experience is a plus,
