As a Store Manager at Tesla, you will be a seasoned and charismatic retail leader, responsible for overseeing and driving sales operations at your location. Your primary role will involve leading the management and sales execution, recruitment, training, and development of a dynamic store team. It is crucial that you set the standard for open communication, active problem solving, and a positive work environment for your team. Your commitment to the success of your team is essential, and active involvement in the growth and development of team members is expected. You will need to be a hands-on coach with a strong business acumen, constantly seeking performance improvement and demonstrating a deep understanding of numbers and KPIs. This role will be based in Mumbai and Delhi. Your responsibilities will include driving business and maximizing sales through customer service, product knowledge, merchandise presentation, and promotion. You will need to implement operational policies and procedures to meet customer needs and help Tesla achieve its goals. Leading the recruitment of candidates, training staff to company standards, planning and implementing store operational tasks, controlling expenses, and adhering to merchandise display processes are all key aspects of your role. Additionally, you will be expected to experiment with workflow efficiency improvements within the local team, share best practices with peers and management, and represent Tesla professionally in all communications. Your performance will be measured by your ability to manage a productive team of Tesla Advisors, ensuring strong sales performance, maintaining active customer pipelines, engaging potential customers, and achieving high customer satisfaction ratings. It is essential that you acquire in-depth knowledge about the company and products and pass internal testing to meet the requirements of a full-time employee. In terms of qualifications, you should have at least 8 years of experience in retail, industry, and key account sales, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets and goals. Additionally, you should have a minimum of 3 years of team management experience, excellent business development and negotiation skills, logical thinking abilities, exceptional time management skills, and attention to detail. A strong appreciation for Tesla's startup culture, the ability to work under pressure, manage team members, and meet sales targets in a fast-paced environment are also required. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with a passion for ethical sales management and operations are crucial for success in this role. Finally, you should be a team player with the ability to develop collaborative relationships and act as a respected partner within the organization.
