About the Role

Virtual Production Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Create

  digital simulations

  of production lines, workflows, and manufacturing systems.
• Support

  process planning and validation

  using virtual tools.
• Develop and optimize

  plant layouts, workstation designs, and assembly line flow

  in a virtual environment.
• Collaborate with design, quality, and production teams to test feasibility of processes before physical implementation.
• Identify

  bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and safety risks

  through virtual testing.
• Assist in implementing

  Lean Manufacturing principles

  in the digital model.
• Prepare

  documentation and reports

  on simulation outcomes and process improvements.
• Support integration of

  Industry 4.0 technologies

  such as Digital Twin, Smart Manufacturing, and AR/VR-based validation.

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of

  manufacturing/production processes

  and industrial workflows.
• Hands-on understanding of

  virtual manufacturing software/tools.

• Knowledge of

  plant layout design, line balancing, ergonomics, and material flow simulation

  .
• Familiarity with

  Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen principles

  .
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and production data.
  

Qualifications

• M.E. in Production / Manufacturing Engineering

  (Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience are welcome).

• B.E./B.Tech in Production Engineering

  with

  minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience

  .
