Job Description

To uphold discipline, integrity, and ethical conduct within the Editorial Department. The Vigilance Officer will monitor editorial practices, investigate misconduct, and ensure adherence to journalistic and organizational policies. Preference is given to Ex-Army personnel for their experience in discipline, vigilance, and internal security.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor editorial operations to prevent unethical practices or bias.
- Investigate internal complaints, misconduct, or code of conduct violations.
- Conduct regular vigilance audits and risk assessments within editorial teams.
- Report all findings to senior editorial management.
- Ensure confidentiality and integrity of editorial content handling.
- Coordinate with HR and Legal departments on disciplinary matters.
- Train editorial staff on internal vigilance and ethical journalism standards.
- Enforce strict compliance with journalistic ethics and internal policies.

Candidate Profile

- Mandatory: Retired Army Officer (preferably with experience in administrative, intelligence, or vigilance roles).
- Educational Qualification: Graduate/Postgraduate preferred.
- Experience in vigilance, monitoring, or security roles is essential.
- Familiarity with media ethics or editorial practices is an advantage.
- Strong leadership and investigative skills.
- High level of confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive matters.
