Video Editor

Key Responsibilities

• Edit polished videos for product explainers, teacher training, marketing campaigns, and social media channels.

• Edit and refine AI avatar–based videos for lessons, announcements, and product storytelling.

• Work with scripts, voiceovers, screen recordings, and product demo footage.
• Add

  graphics, text overlays, transitions, and sound adjustments

  to enhance clarity and viewer engagement.
• Produce videos in multiple formats and durations:
• 1

  5–30s (Reels/Shorts) • 1–3 min (Product/Promo) • 10–25 min (Training/Explanatory)

• Optimize videos for platforms including YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and the mobile app.
• Maintain organized project files, media asset libraries, and version control.
• Adapt quickly to feedback and evolving content requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/diploma in Film, Media, Visual Communication, or equivalent practical experience.

• 1–3 years

  of professional video editing experience (startup/edtech experience preferred but not mandatory).
• Strong understanding of pacing, visual storytelling, color correction, and audio syncing.
• Ability to work with AI avatars, voiceovers, screen recordings, and interview/UGC-style footage.
• Familiarity with aspect ratios, exports, compression, frame rates, and social platform requirements.

Video Editing Tools (Must Have / Preferred)

Must Have (Excellent proficiency):

• Adobe Premiere Pro

• CapCut

Preferred (Good to have):

• Adobe

  After Effects

  (for advanced text/graphics work)

• Final Cut Pro
• Basic graphics handling via

(Still kept clean and limited to only the most relevant professional tools.)

Bonus Points

• Experience editing

  product explainers, teacher training, or educational content

• Ability to design simple branded graphics or educational layouts.
• Experience with YouTube/Social content hooks, retention strategies, and thumbnails.
• Basic audio cleanup (noise removal, levels, EQ, music balancing).
