detail-oriented QA Tester

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute
test plans, test cases, and test scripts
(manual & automated).
Identify, document, and track
defects/bugs
across the SDLC; ensure timely resolutions.
Collaborate with
developers, product managers, and designers
to define quality goals and acceptance criteria.
Perform
functional, regression, smoke, performance, compatibility, and usability
testing for web & mobile.
Validate
AI-driven features
(chatbots, recommendations, generative outputs) for accuracy, safety, and reliability.
Verify
bug fixes
, manage
release validation
(UAT/SIT), and maintain
test evidence
.
Contribute to
QA process improvements
, test data management, and CI/CD quality gates.
Ensure
cross-browser/device
coverage and accessibility best practices.
Produce clear
QA reports/metrics
(pass rate, defect leakage, MTTR) and communicate outcomes to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s in
CS/IT/Engineering
or equivalent practical experience.
1–3 years
in software QA (EdTech/SaaS preferred).
Solid grasp of
testing methodologies
(Agile/Scrum), defect life cycle, and risk-based testing.
Hands-on with
bug tracking & PM tools
(Jira/Linear/ClickUp) and
test case management
(TestRail/Zephyr).
Excellent
analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication
skills.
User-first mindset; sharp attention to detail.

Tooling Proficiency (Must/Strongly Preferred)

Automation:
Selenium WebDriver,
Cypress
or
Playwright
BDD:

Cucumber
(Gherkin)
API Testing:

Postman
, Swagger/OpenAPI; basic scripting for collections
Cross-browser/device:

BrowserStack
(or Sauce Labs)
CI/CD & DevOps:
