Video Editor

to join our team and bring visual stories to life. The ideal candidate should have a passion for storytelling, a strong sense of visual composition, and hands-on experience editing videos across multiple formats and platforms. You will collaborate closely with our creative, marketing, and content teams to produce engaging videos that align with our brand's voice and objectives.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Video Editing & Post-Production: Edit raw footage into polished, high-quality videos using Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
  • Creative Storytelling: Transform scripts, interviews, and visuals into compelling narratives that connect with the target audience.
  • Motion Graphics & Visual Effects: Add text overlays, transitions, animations, and light visual effects to enhance storytelling and viewer engagement.
  • Audio Enhancement: Sync and balance sound, apply music and voiceovers, and ensure clear audio quality in all deliverables.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure that every video reflects the company's tone, branding, and visual style guidelines.
  • Platform Optimization: Adapt video content for various channels — social media (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook), websites, digital ads, and events — with correct aspect ratios and duration formats.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the creative director, producers, graphic designers, and marketing teams to ensure timely delivery and alignment with campaign goals.
  • Content Management: Organize, archive, and maintain video assets and project files for easy retrieval and future use.
  • Feedback & Improvement: Incorporate team and client feedback efficiently, and continuously refine the quality and storytelling impact of your work.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or diploma in Film Production, Media Studies, Communication, Design, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Experience: 2-6 years of professional experience in video editing, preferably in an agency, production house, or digital marketing environment.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Audition) or Final Cut Pro.
    • Familiarity with DaVinci Resolve for color correction and grading.
    • Basic understanding of camera formats, codecs, and export settings for web and broadcast.
  • Creative Strengths: Strong visual sense, understanding of pacing, rhythm, and transitions; ability to craft engaging narratives from raw footage.
  • Attention to Detail: Keen eye for color correction, framing, and visual flow.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to take direction, give and receive feedback constructively, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Time Management: Strong organizational and multitasking skills to meet multiple project deadlines.

Preferred Skills (Good To Have)

  • Experience in motion graphics design or basic 3D animation.
  • Familiarity with social media trends, short-form video editing (Reels, Shorts, TikTok).
  • Knowledge of video compression, metadata tagging, and digital asset management systems.
  • Understanding of storyboarding, scriptwriting, and pre-production planning
