Position Overview

We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor who specializes in short-form content such as YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and social ads. The ideal candidate understands fast-paced storytelling, trends, and editing styles that drive engagement for educational and social platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit high-retention short videos using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Stay updated on social-media trends, transitions, and storytelling formats.
• Deliver high-quality videos within tight deadlines (6–24 hours).
• Optimize videos for each platform with catchy hooks, captions, emojis, and trending sounds.
• Adapt quickly to Civil Guruji’s brand tone and audience preferences.
• Collaborate with scriptwriters, designers, and the marketing team.
• Maintain organized project files and manage multiple projects independently.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Quality Output: 8/10 client/manager rating on 90% of projects
• Timely Delivery: 6–8 hours for Shorts, 12–24 hours for longer videos
• Creative Ideas: 3 new concepts per week
• Trend Usage: 4 trending edits or audios monthly
• Punctuality & Attendance: 95% on-time performance

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience editing Shorts/Reels or social-media campaigns
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
• Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and audience psychology
• Knowledge of social-media algorithms, hooks, and retention tactics
• Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
• Good communication and teamwork skills
